Hail has once again hit the DFW Metro-plex. The month of April 2007 dropped
large hail on: Euless, Bedford, Hurst, Colleyville, Saginaw, Haltom City, Watauga, Blue Mound, Grapevine, Irving, Fort Worth
and Arlington. Now in 2008 on 4-4-08 and 4-9-08 Flowermound, Lewisville, Arlington, Mansfield, Benbrook and Fort Worth have
got it again.
BEWARE!! Storm chasers abound and everybody who has ever swung a hammer
or been in a building trade is becoming a roofer ready for hire. Many companies are pressuring residents to sign a document
that gives them power of attorney to negotiate their claim without any written estimate rendered.
This is a common practice among questionable companies called
"an assignment of benefit". This gives them the ability to receive all
monetary proceeds directly to them, often sacrificing quality and service to you. Also, many are placing their signs
in yards without any signed contract or authorization from the homeowner. It's like a dog that marks it's territory.
A reputable company does not leave the homeowner feeling a sense of obligation
by placing his sign in your yard, just because the homeowner requested an Estimate or Inspection that was advertised
as FREE. A knowledgeable and reputable company will be ready to provide you with a detailed, written estimate without the
need to "wait and see" what the insurance company is prepared to do.

a legitimate claim.
Many companies claim to be local, however, that is not always the case.
Many small companies in the Metro-Plex are unable to handle the volume of business a storm the magnitude of 2007 has
left us.
Out of town companies come into the area looking to "Lease" for a percentage,
the small local company, seeking to legitamize an "out of town" business that has no ability or intentions of servicing their
warranties. Many of these nomadic companies come into the area with their own crews assimilated while chasing storms. Service
and quality are always the issues left to the reputable companies that are honestly local and established. That
would be us!
